GUWAHATI: Of the 46 people who have been tested for the Coronavirus disease on board the Grand Princess cruise ship, 21 have been found to be infected. This was announced by Mike Pence, US Vice President at the White House.

There are more than 3500 people aboard the cruise ship Grand Princess that has been held in waters off San Francisco. There are 2422 guests from 54 countries in the luxury liner with a crew of 1111.
This is the second luxury cruise ship after Diamond Princess was quarantined off Yokohama harbour in Japan in February after Coronavirus was detected.
A total of 17 people have so far died in the United States from COVID-19. New cases have surfaced all over the world with no signs of slowing down.
