GUWAHATI: Renault’s sister brand Dacia has revealed a new facelift model of the ‘Duster’ for the European market.
The new Duster is equipped with Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, new alloy wheel designs, and updated tail lamp clusters.
Speaking of the interior, the SUV gets a new 8-inch touchscreen music system with a 4×4 monitor with an inclinometer and altimeter, multiview camera and a blind-spot monitor.
The updated version of the Dacia Duster gets new seats, centre console, a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control and automatic headlights.
Also, the higher variants have features like automatic climate control, heated front seats.

The new version of the Duster comes with 5 engine options. There are 3 petrol engines(one 1.0-litre turbocharged engine),(two 1.3-litre turbocharged engine).
The diesel versions are Renault’s tried-and-tested 1.5-litre dCi engine. Also, there is a 1.0-litre bi-fuel engine that runs on both LPG and petrol.
International markets have now received the updated second-generation Duster. In the Indian market though, Renault seems to be concentrating on new products like the Triber and Kiger. The biggest USP of the Duster has always been its punchy diesel engine and ride quality and these have always made it a hit with Indian customers. Renault already has a proven product in its hands for India, all Renault India needs to do is, launch the facelift in India too, says Drivespark India.
