In a recent development in the Cash for Job scam, 19 agricultural development officers have been summoned by Dispur Police for inquiry. They were being summoned for questioning regarding the agricultural development officers job scam.

There was an allegation that 27 agricultural officers manipulated the answer scripts. It should be noted that Dispur Police previously interrogated 8 agriculture development officers regarding the case registered in Bhangagarh Police Station.
Youth named Bedanta Bikash Das has filed a case in Bhangagarh Police Station alleging these 27 agriculture officers of manipulating the answer scripts. The agricultural development officers’ exam was held in 2014.
The police had earlier arrested former APSC chairman Rakesh Paul and a suspended APSC member, Basanta Doley for allegedly altering and enhancing marks for the candidates. It was confirmed after forensic reports found tampering in 27 optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets of the candidates.
