GUWAHATI, Dec 29: 179 people out of the total 181 passengers and crew members were killed in a horrific plane crash at South Korea’s Muan International Airport on Sunday morning.
A Jeju Air flight from Bangkok with 181 people crashed during an emergency landing attempt at around 9.03 am local time in the Muan International Airport.
Videos showed the twin-engine aircraft skidding down the runway while trying to make the emergency landing before slamming into a wall and then exploding into flames.

Two survivors – a passenger and a crew member – were rescued from the tail section of the plane, reports said, while the rest 179 people on board are presumed dead.
