GUWAHATI, Dec 18: Investigators looking into the life of 15-year-old Wisconsin shooter Natalie ‘Samantha’ Rupnow believe that she had a troubled and turbulent childhood with court records revealing that her parents divorced and remarried multiple times, and that she had been enrolled in therapy, The Washington Post reported.

According to officials cited by ABC News, Rupnow had reportedly shown an interest in neo-Nazi ideology and violence, alongside active participation in online forums that glorify mass shooters, Firstpost reported.

The teenager, a student of the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, opened fire at a classroom filled with students, killing a teacher and a student.

Rupnow was found dead from what now appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Investigators are now conducting more searches at her home to know more as to why she could have taken such a step and the events leading to the calamitic tragedy.
