Guwahati: The 13th edition of the International Guwahati Film Festival starts today. The film festival is organized by Gauhati Cine Club and at Rabindra Bhawan, Guwahati.
The film festival will screen movies form Germany, Tunisia, Croatia, Greece, Mexico, Bangladesh including Indian movies such as Malayalam movie ‘Darkness’ and Hindi movie ‘Mooso’ and ‘4-Sum’
In addition, the premiere soundtrack of the film ‘Dark Colors’ directed by Pradyut Deka will be screened.
Dedicated to the renowned film director Satyajit Ray, the film festival will also screen ‘Pather Panchali’.
Other than the screening of films, the organizing committee has also kept a short films competition category.
The magazine of Gauhati Cine Club Chitra Chinta will also be released like every year.
