GUWAHATI, Nov 23: At least 11 people have been killed and more than 60 injured in a massive Israeli strike on a residential building in Lebanese capital Beirut, reports said.
The Israeli attack, which took place at about 4 am local time today, shook the city, flattening an eight-storey building in the capital’s densely-populated Basta district.
Today’s attack is the fourth strike by Israel this week and the targets have been in and around central Beirut, reports said.
Iran-backed Hezbollah said its spokesman Mohammed Afif had been killed in an air strike launched by Israel on Monday while several other top Hezbollah members, including the group’s leader Hassan Nasrallah, was also killed in Israeli attacks.
