10,000 YABA tablets worth Rs 3 crore seized near Indo-Bangladesh border in Cachar’s Katigorah

GUWAHATI, Feb 28: The crackdown on drugs and narcotic substances in Assam continues with security forces busting another drug cartel and have seized 10,000 YABA tablets worth Rs 3 crore near the Indo-Bangladesh border at Leverputa in Cachar’s Katigorah.

Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma took to the social media to reiterate his government’s commitment to continue the crackdown on drugs in the coming days as well.

“In Assam, it’s the era of Fabs not YABA tabs!

Compliments to Cachar Police and BSF India for busting a narcotics network and seizing 10,000 YABA tablets worth ₹3cr near the Indo-Bangladesh border in Leverputa, Katigorah.

We won’t allow drugs to proliferate,” Chief Minister Dr Sarma wrote on his social media handles.
