More than 10 from Assam crack Civil Services exam

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today announced the results of the Civil Services (Main) 2018 examinations with more than 10 candidates from Assam clearing the exam with flying colours.

While a total of 759 candidates cleared the examination, Kanishak Kataria, a B. Tech graduate from IIT Bombay, topped the Civil Services (Main) finals, Akshat Jain and Junaid Ahmad bagged the second and third ranks respectively.

Candidates from Assam who have cleared the Civil Services (Main) 2018 examination are Mrigank Sekhar Pathak (103), Ranjeeta Sharma (130), Namita Sharma (145), Dipankar Choudhary (166), Garima Garg (170), Rishabha Garg (200), Aranyak Saikia (287), Fwwrman Brahma (429), Abhishek Goswami (525), Taposh Basumatary (645), Saurabh Sharma (656) and Diksha Langthasa (708).

More names are likely to get added to this list as names of successful candidates, who are from Assam, are being confirmed.
