OVER 40 CRPF TROOPERS KILLED IN PHULWAMA TERROR ATTACK

PUBLISHED:

Over 40 CRPF troopers have been killed in one of the worst terror attacks on security forces when Pakistani terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out a suicide attack on a CISF convoy at Awantipora of Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir today (Feb 14).

Jaish terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar was behind the attack and rammed a Scorpio car laden with 350 kgs of explosive into a bus carrying the CISF troopers that was part of a 70-vehicle convoy travelling from Jammu to Srinagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while condemning the incident, termed the attack despicable and said that sacrifices of the martyred jawans will not go in vain. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, meanwhile, assured the people that a strong response will be given to the terror attack carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Pulwama.
