“Similar incidents have been taking place near the Kaziranga National Park but no action has been taken by Forest Department officials to provide security to people living,” an employee of the tea garden told News Live.

“Other labours went to the forest office to inform them of the incident. However, they gave little heed to our complaint,” he added.
