Pallabi, along with other APS, ACS and other allied service officers, was arrested on July 18 following handwriting did not match with that of their answer sheets in the APSC examination held in 2016. Pallabi has been granted bail for two weeks.
Citing MP RP Sharma’s medical emergency, Pallabi had previously applied for bail twice but was rejected. MP Sharma’s wife also appealed for interim bail so as to facilitate the renal transplant surgery of her husband.
MP Sharma had undergone a kidney transplant on Tuesday and his health has deteriorated and put on ventilation. He was operated upon in a hospital in Kolkata.
